MagicJack VoIP Revolutionary Communication Tool

Magic Jack officially launched in March 2008 where they have been giving away the magic jack device and a year’s worth of long distance in the us and canada for free. A second year can be had for just more. The magic jack actually cost me for the unit and shipping and the first year’s service, but considering all the alternatives out there, this is by far the coolest and cheapest feature filled telephone service I’ve come across. The magic jack also gets kudos for being mac compatible – assuming you are running a newer mac with the Intel processors. Magic jack is true to their word as far as initial set-up goes. After removing the unit from it’s packaging and plugging in the optional USB extension cord, I plugged in my phone jack at one end and the magic jack into my computer’s USB port. Hi, anyone familiar with dialup connections, I can’t get online as of last night?

when I double click on the People PC icon, this little window pops up saying, “GetBartPathfailed” and won’t let me go further. The small icon on the lower tool bar also disappeared. Do I need to reinstall the PeoplePC program or is there a way to accss the net without doing so and restore the toolbar icon. Thank You.
I am currently using the other computer in the house.

When downloading Microsoft’s Malicious software removal tool?

It says for my updates that it will take 24min’s to download due to I have dialup (oh well).

My question is: when it downloads and runs quietly the next time i turn on the comp, does it actually take up memory from my comp or what ? Can I uninstall it later on from my Add/remove programs?
Note: I mean downloading from Microsoft update !
