iam using win 98 os and its is intel celeron but my internal modem is fixed in the pci slot. it is connected through mtnl dialup (telephone). now i want my laptop to connect to pc and browse the net. how to do it ?

hi every body friends my question is how i can share internet on work group of 20 nodes?
on some nodes win2000 is installed and on some win xp is installed, the system wich is directly connected to internet is using win xp, i have tried sharing throug properties of dialup but didnt get any result. so kindly let me know the port setting and any other setting related to it.
My dialup connection speed dropped to half. what could be the problem? I use win98Se,56Kbps internal modem,ie6
I use 56Kbps internal modem for internet. Previously my dialup connection speed used to be 44000 or 46000bps. But now it is low and is varying all the time. now it is 21200 or 24000 or 32000 or 33333 or 36000bps only. What could be the problem? Is it with server or telephone line or my modem got weak or any other problem? Can anyone help me in this regard. Thank you.

is there any freeware that will prevent missed calls because im online?i have call waiting and cid and my os is WIN ME.
dsl or broadband or cellphones or 2nd lines are not options for me.i need some freeware that will help to prevent missed calls while online.my os is WIN ME.
