My DSL crashed the other day and I had to disconnect my network and use a dialup until my DSL is backup. When I connected back my network (I have 4 PCs and 2 laptops with wireless connection in the network), my FTP software cannot find my shared files anymore. I can access my data files and internet through my network but WS FTP cannot see my shared folder. Can anyone help?
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried pinging it and I was able to ping it. So it must be some other reason
Looking at the properties of my wireless connection, It is familiar to my old dialup connection but where “bytes sent/received” used to be is now “packets sent/received”

i can send file back n fourth i check internet sharing(wireless connection or lan) on the dial up properties i check all the icp im using windows vista but my laptop2 just cant use the net..

I’m currently using a crappy wireless connection and my DLs average around 15-20 kb/s.
Is this faster or slower than what I can expect next month when I move out to the sticks and resort to a dialup connection? What kind of UL/DL speeds can I expect then?
