Looking for a Thanksgiving recipe…?

This year my family is going to my Grandmother’s house for Thanksgiving. She wants us to bring a dish in addition to what she’s making. I overheard my Grandpa saying that he would love some of my wife’s poontang pie. He must be confused because she has never made something called poontang pie before, but we don’t want to disappoint pap-pap.
I need a recipe for poontang pie!

why is Voice lagging and cutting out so much?

Messenger used to work much better about a year ago. I’ve been keeping up with the upgrades but in the past month (first on 7.5 now on 8.0) I can’t keep a conversation going any more without being booted, or extreme echos, or some other symptom of extreme lagging like we used to get with dialup.
We’re all on broadband, haven’t changed hardware, and our ISP’s have actually increased speed during this time. We used to have conversations that actually were as good as the landline, but not any more. It’s not worth using anymore.
And Yahoo suport hasn’t answered either.
The 2 answers I received are things already tried, with no help, or leadt to 404 sites.

Problem getting through to Verizon for DSL?

I signed up a year ago to be notified via e-mail whenever Verizon got around to bringin DSL to my neighborhood. The end of the network is only half a mile away.

My problem is that I can’t get through to a human being by phone to find out WHEN this might be happening.

Our cable provider really sucks and is too expensive. But dialup is ridiculously slow.

Does anyone have a phone number to reach someone in DSL at Verizon–other than the 800 number(s) in the DSL ads? I’ve tried those and every time, the recorded message says to call back because they’re too busy. There’s no option to wait for an agent.

Thanks for any advice or info someone might have.

Is there ab chat room about internet connections in the JoplinMo area? Help!!?

My husband and I are moving. We have had Wildblue internet service for a year, but they need $215.00 to move our satalite service about 20 miles. My husband WILL NOT accept dialup. Is there any other way to go? I need some local advise.
